What will you do?
In this position you will join our Asia business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Use your knowledge of Hong Kong standards and codes to prepare concept design reports and detailed design specifications
• Prepare submission procedures and design standards in Hong Kong 
• Carrying out site investigations and audits to inform new designs
• Communicate effectively with the internal team and external consultants to produce coordinated designs
• Preparation of calculations required for the design of engineering projects
• Planning studies, conceptual and detailed design of civil infrastructure projects
• Producing detailed designs and documentation for the implementation of medium to large sized engineering projects
• Marketing activities and preparation of fee submissions
• Preparation of specifications, proposals and other tender documentation
• Undertaking site inspections and associated reporting, liaison with clients, sub-consultants and contractors

What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:  

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of working experience
• Civil design experience in buildings and land infrastructure
• Candidates with HKIE corporate member or equivalent will be considered for a more senior role
• Ability to produce sound designs independently with commitment to quality
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good organization and project management skills
• Self-motivated and ambitious individuals with desire to develop
• Proficient with digital design tools and design software
