Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To undertake planning submission and identify integrated projects and implementation for assigned redevelopment, revitalisation and preservation projects
- To oversee the preparation of various planning submissions (including TPB submissions, SIAs, Objection handling and Appeal under the URA Ordinance) of assigned projects, liaison with Government Departments in achieving project objectives/ delivery of projects, monitoring of consultants’ performance and progress of assigned projects through various stages of planning, design and implementation
- To oversee steering and management of consultant services relating to different planning studies / preliminary project feasibility studies
- To oversee the preparation / organisation of presentations, events and consultation activities to solicit public support for project implementation and achieve the Authority’s objectives
- To provide planning, urban design and other technical expertise to facilitate the planning and implementation of assigned projects
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Town Planning or related discipline
- Recognised professional planning qualifications, e.g. HKIP, RTPI, CIP, PIA, RPP
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience, with hands-on experience in urban planning/design
- Proficiency in GIS is essential and experience in ArcGIS Pro is an advantage
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
