We are working with a niche dynamic contractor who are expanding in Hong Kong, with years of project experience in the region and several prestigious clients under their belt.

The Managing Director is seeking a Technical Director with a solid Geotechnical background and at last ten years of Hong Kong project experience.

The preferred candidate will be responsible for all site formations and ground investigations, managing a small team and all external contractors, consultants, and vendors. 

This role would also encompass project management and the chance to work with government entities.

Responsible for all budgeting, estimating, overseeing the progress of budgets and contracts.

One would leas the construction and technical team and ensure deadlines and local building codes are met as well as HSE is adhered too.

This person may also be asked to develop new business.

Requirements:

-      A Degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering is essential
-      Minimum of12-15 years of experience in managing projects including having worked for a contractor in the fields of Site Formation, slope work and ground Investigation 
-      Member of HKIE etc is preferred

Being an Authorised signatory would be an advantage.

This person must possess a strong background having successfully delivered Hong Kong projects and have led teams and mentored junior engineers.
