- Provide geological support to various civil / structural / geotechnical projects through the use of API, rock slope and tunnel mapping, forming geological ground models and other tasks as required.
- Assist in undertaking the geotechnical assessment and design for man-made slopes, natural terrain studies, site formation, reclamation and tunnel works.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports.
- Undertake site supervision of GI / construction works as required.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Earth Sciences / Geology or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years’ working experience in civil / geotechnical projects as Engineering Geologist
- Self-motivated, logical and systematic thinker
- Good communication skills and proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good background knowledge of Hong Kong geology and good fundamentals of geological mapping and logging skills
- Understanding of Aerial Photograph Interpretation techniques
- Ability to use geological / geotechnical / geospatial software such as ArcGIS, CAD, gINT, Leapfrog and Rocscience is beneficial
- Experience of TCP-T3 GI supervision would be advantageous
