5.5 Day Work (alternate Saturday-off)

Working location: Kwun Tong (near MTR Station)

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out general contract administration and ensure all paperwork is in place during pre and post contract stage;
• Prepare monthly interim payment to client, measurement works and make payment to subcontractors and suppliers;
• Prepare and submit VO document;
• Provide financial data for individual project/job, and perform cost control, cash flow monitoring, and follow-up action;
• Perform settlement of final account including but not limit to original scope of works, variations, and claims;
• Manage, coach and supervise the performance of works carried out by AQS/ QS clerk, including but not limited to checking on the works done by junior staff;
• Supervise and manage the taking off from drawings and pricing for cost estimates, tender documents, etc.; and
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma/ Higher Certificate in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines;
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications;
• Time management, multi-tasking, attention to detail and accuracy;
• Able to work independently, good communications skill, self-motivated and willing to learn, working on-site when required;
• Well-organized and able to work under tight schedule and under pressure;
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese;
• Immediately available is an advantage; and
• Candidate with more experience may be considered as ASSISTANT PROJECT QUANTITY SURVEYOR/ PROJECT QUANTITY SURVEYOR
