Job Description

Requirements and roles

  • Be a Registered Safety Officer under current F&IU Regulation with 3 years post site supervision experience;
  • Experience in building demolition is a must;
  • Have good interpersonal and communications skills;
  • Ensure Works Contractors, sub-contractors and all persons working on the Development Site are made aware of and comply with the Safety Plan/Fire Plan/Emergency Plan;
  • Conduct safety inspections/reviews and audits;
  • Review method statements and risk assessments;
  • Report to Architect for safety issues and follow up safety observations given by Architect;
  • Maintain a safety diary which shall record all matters related to safety and health, including safety reports submitted by Works Contractors, details of safety inspections and audits, accidents, dangerous occurrences, safety related incidents, etc. ;
