Our client is a leading fashion retailer with a strong business presence in the APAC market. Having decades of history in apparel, our client operates in over 10 countries globally with a key focus in Greater China. With their expansion in the China market, they are currently looking for a Chief Designer to join their team. The position will be based in Guangzhou. Travel allowance is provided for weekly travel to Hong Kong.

- Manage design process from product development to final styling
- Ensure effective visual presentation down into execution with reference to brand image consistency and guidelines
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabric, and techniques
- Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits and create new concepts
- Ensure product is in alignment with company business strategy
- Review product for style and fit during presentations
- Manage a team of 8-10 designers
- Report to the Director
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in fashion design for retail brands
- Proven leadership skills in managing junior designers
- Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese is a MUST
- Eligibility to work in China
- China exposure will have an advantage
- Welcome candidates in Hong Kong or China
- 5 days work
