Brazilian company with office in Tsim Sha Tsui looking for a person with minimum 2 years’ experience for the position of Product, design and development manager.

- Identify market and customer needs against Head office business objectives thus creating competitive analysis to define new products opportunities.
- Monitor the development of new products from their conception to their launch in the market.
- Co-ordinate and monitor with suppliers, designers, and logistics if the product specifications defined by Mundial are being fulfilled.
- Co-ordinate Mundial’s team proposals and the supplier’s production team to assure the correct understanding / interpretation of the projects and product details defined by the product team.
- Co-ordinate with logistic and suppliers if the product quality and delivery time are in accordance with Mundial needs.
- Monitor the evolution of Mundial products in the Web site asper to keep the web site product portfolio always updated.
- Monitor inventory level in Hong Kong warehouse and with suppliers. if quantity of goods is not enough to cover ordering quantities verify with supplier the MOQ (minimum order quantity), up-date price and lead time to offer to the customers, Mundial Inc (US branch) and Mundial S/A (Brazil head office) the best delivery possible.
- Co-ordinate orders received from the customers, Mundial Inc and Mundial Brazil and make sure all terms are correct.
- Mark down the margin percentages.
- Create and monitor product strategies for the existent products as per develop and propose new products lines, new packaging, price promotions for the different areas of Mundial.
- Daily contact with marketing department, product development, production, finance etc in Brazil and USA to keep all parts aware of the new products development evolution.
- Searching for new products and proposals that could be included in future product lines of Mundial.
- Define and control the product margins to obtain the best result possible to Mundial Co Ltd considering the market environment and the strategic business plan of Mundial Co. 

Entry Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or above is required.
- To source and develop new products ranges.
- Coordinate and control new product proposals with the Head office in Brazil.
- To handle quotations, sample, packaging and all details concerned to the new potential product for North and Latin America.
- Support new products development initiatives for North and Latin America markets.
- Cost analysis and price negotiation with potential suppliers.
- Organize sourcing trips for overseas customer / buyers.
- Manage supplier relationship.

Other requirements:
- Fluency in Portuguese in desirable to discuss projects with the Head Office in Brazil.
- Good command of spoken and written English. Chinese will be a considered a must.
- Independent, hard-working, responsible, and open to new opportunities.
- Self-motivated, well-organized and good team player.
- Strong communications skills and experience in North and Latin America markets for a perfect understanding of the Head Office demands.
- Under pressure able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight schedule.
- Proficiency in arts and design in order to develop new products & packing proposals in accordance with the Head Office requirements and proposals.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) and quick Books.

- Knowledge of Corel, in design, photoshop will be considered a must.
- Occasional business travel to Brazil may be called for.
