Our client is an international brand with its specialty in functional and prominent lifestyle accessories and bags.  They are inviting a passionate caliber to join their design team. 

Responsibilities:

• As part of the key member in the creative design team, responsible for design and development of designated brand collection for APAC, including preparation of technical specifications.
• Be close to market trend and collect information from worldwide market to support the design work while adhering to brand direction.
• Act as a pro-active problem-solver during design and development stage.  Identify any potential risk for production to avoid bigger problems to occur.
• Ensure all details of the design can be transferred and feasible for bulk production.
• Work closely with sourcing, vendors and marketing team to generate successful design.

Requirement:

• Degree holder in Fashion, Textile or related discipline. 
• Minimum 5 years' experience in product design in bags and accessories or related industry.
• Proficient in CAD e.g Solidworks, Rhino, Photoshop.
• Work exposure in Europe is an advantage.
• Excellent in English (spoken and written).
• Travel as necessary.
