Looking for engineer with a strong background in Drinkware / Houseware / Gifts & Premium / Promotion Items / Metal / Plasticwares / Kitchenware / Tableware / Sundries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide engineering solutions during design, development and implementation production stages to ensure all technical requirements have been considered.
• Strong knowledge on manufacturing processes and molding processes such as metal forming, injection molding, die-casting, and assembly, etc;
• Ability of plastic part, metal, glass, and tool problem solving
• Identify design and construction issues and liaise with relevant parties to provide effective engineering solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functioning teams to ensure multiple projects are executed smoothly according to development plan
• Troubleshooting of molding quality issues, design issues, failure analysis, functionality issues
• Responsible for product development, failure analysis, tooling validation, manufacturing process improvements
• Liaise with overseas customers about the conceptual process design of new product and the enhancement of existing products process design
• Understanding of design and quality best practices for production
• Coordinate with factory to resolve production related matters
• Product & tooling cost verification and negotiation
• Performing inhouse product testing
• Familiar with product testing compliance and certificate requirements; also need to update with lab for the regulation constantly
• Take initiatives to lead and plan problem solving activities for projects related
• Design & create engineering CAD file for 3D printing and manufacturing based on a brief concept / rendering from customer

• University Graduated preferred (in Manufacturing / Industrial / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering)
• 10 yrs + experience in plastic, metal, glass and molding fields
• Understanding of mold structure and product design
• Experience with CAD (Solidworks preferred)
• Strong experience in Drinkware / Houseware / Gifts & Premium / Promotion Items / Metal / Plasticwares / Kitchenware / Tableware / Sundries.
• Proactive approach to work, self-motivated, flexible, able to work well under pressure and good problem-solving skills;
• Good interpersonal & communication skills;
• Proficient in spoken & written English and Mandarin;
• Presentable, quick learner and an excellent team player
• Excellent written and oral English are essential, Mandarin language is a MUST
• Proficient in MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Typing is a MUST
• Willing to travel occasionally
