Roles and Responsibilities

• Strategic business insight: 
  • Drill down into territories level to identify opportunities to increase market share
  • Periodic insights sharing with senior stakeholders
  • Direct ownership in analyzing & providing market insights on emerging trends and competitive benchmarking 

• Long-range planning & scaleable insight
  • Identify high-potential new spaces that are strategic for foodpanda future expansion and build business cases to present to senior stakeholders
  • Research and modeling to understand the market landscape and facilitate long-range planning
• Project Management 
  • PMO for performance improvement initiatives: coordinate between various functional teams, report on progress, and identify and resolve blockers
  • PMO for high-urgency projects e.g. country improvement sprints, identify high potential local partnership opportunities before competitors

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 - 6 years of relevant strategic planning work experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or leading e-commerce company
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Business Strategy Manager
• Prior working experience in management consulting (preferably MBB), top-tier investment banking would be an advantage
• PMP Certification, knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a plus
• Energetic and highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to work toward tight deadlines
• Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to summarize conclusions concisely and persuasively in high-quality presentations
• Strong attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
