Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit and quality check scripts of all publication projects and learning materials with consideration of appropriate levels and contents;
• Carry out proofreading and checking of text, illustrations, photographs and blueprints to ensure high quality of content and language with reference to syllabi, relevant documents and references;
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams in market research, promotion and sales activities;
• Collaborate with the designers and all relevant teams on the content and presentation of publishing and digital or multimedia productions;
• Familiarity with local primary or secondary curriculum is an advantage;
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned;

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in English language, Translation, Linguistics, Education or equivalent;
• Excellent command of English is a MUST;
• Familiar with MS Office;
• Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently and under pressure;
• Maintain a high standard of work with good time management;
• Excellent communication skills, detail-minded and multi-tasking

Note:

äRecent graduates will also be considered as Assistant English Editor.

äCandidates with more experience will be considered as English Editorial Officer.
