Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor the daily operation of submarine-cable landing station
• Liaise with internal and external parties (such as Subsea Network Operating Center or overseas Carriers) for cable repair and circuit provisioning
• Prepare cable fault report and summary
• Prepare engineering, planning & operations document when needed
• On-call standby is required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Telecommunication, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in transmission & submarine cable station operation
• Solid knowledge of OTN, SDH and DWDM transmission technology
• Proactive, responsible and a good team player
• Good analytic and problem solving skill
• Mature and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese (include Putonghua)
