Job Description
Job responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering divisions of Project, Manufacturing, Sample, and Cost team across all manufacturing sites (China, Vietnam)
- Deploy strategies and advance engineering techniques to enhance product performance
- Lead and monitor Engineering to total solutions from development to manufacturing cycle
- Monitor project schedule adherence and assure competent costs in development and production
- Identify problems and enhance engineering supports, advance manufacturing techniques with process streamlining & automation (Lean & i 4.0)
- Explore new technology opportunities and engineering module possibilities to maintain product competitiveness and customer expectations
- Liaise with customers, to access material suitability and product construction to meet engineering and quality requirements
- Perform ad hoc assignments by management
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Min. 5-8 years of relevant engineering and project management experience in Manufacturing and Engineering field,with minimum 3 years in managerial position
- Experience in the paper product /printing/ toys industry is an advantage
- Experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean manufacturing, and 6 Sigma is preferable
- Strong in leadership, project management and result-oriented
- Good problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and Mandarin
- Workbase in Dongguan
