The Infrastructure Delivery organization is looking to hire a highly motivated Network Engineer to join our growing team. The position responsibilities involve network configuration and fiber connectivity of network scaling projects across several data center locations. The Network Engineer will work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution in association with Technical Program Managers.

Our ideal candidate is autonomous, detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and has strong experience in supporting large scale, enterprise class networks. They will be competent in all aspects of installation and troubleshooting of networking hardware, software and fiber connectivity, all combined with a proven project delivery methodology. This position will work with minimum supervision to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and to assist in the development of innovative ways to scale our network as we expand.

This Network Engineer is expected to work with established best practices to refine operational procedures, develop new tooling and constantly think proactively and inventively. The desire and ability to work in an ambiguous, collaborative environment is essential for success. He/She will work closely with our Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of new designs and products. Approximate 10% international travel per year is required.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in English;
• BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or 3+ years of enterprise experience in a highly dynamic environment;
• Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes with an eye on improvement;
• Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment, such as VFL, Power meter, and OTDR;
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent judgement and analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks based on fluctuating needs;
• Strong understanding of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, etc.) 
• Significant background in large scale data center network implementations and support;
• Experience working in virtualized enterprise networking environments;
• Experience dealing with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure;
• Strong Project Management skill;
