- Description: ABL Aviation is currently seeking to recruit a 5+yr experienced Technical Analyst for its Hong Kong office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the aircraft specifications and records are uploaded to internal systems.
- Preparation and updating of aircraft technical specifications.
- Assist with maintenance of knowledge database.
- Development, monitoring, and execution of technical records and library.
- Review of supplied documentation in relation to maintenance reserve claims and internal processing of claims in accordance with the provisions of the lease agreement.
- Work to ensure timely (re)delivery of aircraft.
- Analyse aircraft and engines situations.
- Analyse aircraft maintenance data.
- Anticipation of aircraft maintenance status at time of delivery.
- Support development of internal models and tools.
- Records review during pre-purchase, mid-term audits and at aircraft transitions.
- Management of maintenance records.
- Ensure that the Approved Maintenance Programmes for each aircraft are kept up to date with all mandatory requirements.
- Ensure all applicable scheduled, non-scheduled maintenance and aircraft defects are carried out in accordance with the applicable maintenance program, rules and regulations in a timely, efficient and cost-effective way.
- Monitoring the operating hours of aircraft and their components.
- Monitoring of all forms of technical information from the Regulatory Authorities, and OEMs in a timely and consistent manner, will include but is not limited to the following: Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Major/Minor Modifications.
- Provide written inspection reports.
- Report defects, inaccuracies and deviations within the management system.
- Take action to correct any process or procedure that may compromise the airworthiness of an aeronautical product.
- Responsible for the content and amendment of any Airworthiness Procedures under his control.
- Meet targets and KPIs set up by the Chief Technical Officer.
- Maintenance and aircraft market analysis.
- Technical data management and analysis.
- Potential business studies.
- You will be an engineering graduate in aeronautical or mechanical engineering with at least 5+ years of professional experience ideally gained in an airline in a technical services role or in a leasing company in a technical role directly related to the job function.
- Fluent professional English language, verbal and written, is required.
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin.
- You will have gained a strong technical foundation through your experience gained and an understanding of the commercial aspects of the business.
- Excellent technical knowledge of commercial narrow body aircraft.
- Familiarity with Aircraft technical publications such as AMM’s, IPC’s, Service Bulletins, AD’s.
- Familiarity with Aircraft maintenance programmes, records and related technical documentation.
- Familiarity with OEM data systems such as MyBoeingFleet and Airbus World.
- Well organised, meticulous attention to detail.
- You are operating efficiently with strong personal organisation and ability to manage and prioritise workload and deliver to agreed deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure, often with tight timescales and with a limited brief.
- Some experience of data analytics and presentation is considered an advantage.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.
- Have excellent numerical analysis.
- Have excellent skills / High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA) and Word as well as eagerness to learn new applications to promote efficiency.
- Will be a competent communicator and can write detailed technical reports/
- Self-motivated, adaptable and creative team player, with a deep desire to learn new skills.
- You can travel as required in support of assigned projects.
- Demonstrated capability of delivering target results on time.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Skill and experience with VBA/SQL and/or other scripting abilities are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of:
- Part-M, Part-145 and Part-21.
- EASA and FAA regulations. Other regulations are welcome.
- Ability to understand, interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
- High competency in analysing, structuring and presenting large volumes of data.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills; ability to manage multiple requirements and deliver effective outcomes efficiently.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills are essential.
- Work with limited assistance and supervision, accurately and timely.
- An ability to be collegial, work as part of a team and show a high level of initiative.
- A strong work ethic, a flexible approach to work and the willingness and resilience to work in a fast-paced environment.
