About you:
We are looking for Technical Manager to work with our customers’ motor yachts.

As a Technical Manager, you will report to the General Manager and manage defect reports as well as product quality control. You will be leading a team for new yachts deliveries, warranties and aftersales services.  You have the technical ability to complete all tasks and supervise installations, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment, auxiliary equipment and propulsion systems. You will provide technical advice to clients and ensure inspections and repair services are delivered with high level service standards.

If you are selected for this position, you will perform quality maintenance and diagnostics on marine equipment including marine diesel engines, smaller engines (sailboats & generators), as well as main propulsion engines on larger yachts. You must be familiar with using computer-based discoveries diagnostics and reports. You must be able to effectively use OEM published technical information, both hard copy and online. You should be able to perform repairs and diagnostics, available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Five years experience in the marine industry: operation, seagoing or shipbuilding
• Experience with repairs or shipbuilding
• Knowledge of all aspects of today’s current power plants and auxiliary systems
• Valid  Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Electrical troubleshooting practical experience, certification is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
• Candidate must be self-disciplined, diligent, able to work independently, strong attention to details, adhere to professional standards, and proactive in following up and execute work assignments.
• Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Immediate available candidate is highly preferred.

Success Keys:
We need a self-starter with troubleshooting skills, a professional appearance. Team player attitude is a plus, along with effective verbal communication skills to work effectively with fellow employees, parts department, management, and communicating with the customer. Effective written communication skills are also needed to report results of investigations and discoveries and make recommendations to successfully complete repairs.
