Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support the cluster Learning & Development function for two hotels in Hong Kong
- Assist the Director of Learning & Development to ensure departmental L&D plans are in line with the overall hotel strategy
- Communicate with Department Heads to identify and address colleagues and departmental development needs
- Deliver Learning & Development programmes in accordance with hotel and company standards and procedures, including product knowledge, company philosophy, guest service and leadership skills
- Manage internship trainee programme including recruitment, onboarding, training coaching and monitoring
- Perform administrative tasks to ensure proper maintenance of records, supplies, training venue requirements and manage the hotel’s eLearning Systems, training records and monitor completion rates for necessary training
- Play an active part in Fire, Life, Health, Safety & Security training to ensure that all relevant compliances are adhered to, as well as recorded and reviewed as per the company guidelines
- Assist and support in both Human Resources and Learning & Development subjects when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, or related major
- 8 years of working experience in Learning and Development field with at least 3 years in managerial or supervisory role
- Strong team player and ability to work independently
- Ability to present information to all levels of colleagues proficiently and effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both English & Cantonese
- Confident and strong ability to build relationships
- Culturally sensitive, self-motivated, well organised and detail minded at work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and any Chinese input method
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Learning & Development Manager position.
