Duties/ Accountabilities:

• Reconcile daily policy benefit payments, arrange overheads expense payments and fund transfer and prepare payment vouchers;
• Prepare month-end closing vouchers;
• Prepare bank reconciliation and accounts reconciliation;
• Check investment transactions and prepare investment vouchers;
• Prepare daily cash flow position;
• Prepare Insurance Authority reports (e.g. Remittance Return on Levy);
• Maintain bank accounts and custodian accounts;
• Performance user acceptance test on core system;
• Assist in HKFRS17 project; and
• Assist in ad hoc projects when required.

• Diploma in Finance/Accounting or Business preferred;
• Student member of HKICPA or equivalent;
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience preferably one year in insurance industry;
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
• Familiar with the operation of accounting system/software;
• Knowledge to investment accounting is preferable; and
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese (including Putonghua) and English.
