The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Database Intelligence Department.

Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to Hong Kong companies
• Update the data fields covered in the company profile and mark in the hardcopy as well as the inputting into the system
• Collect information for data fields that are not previously recorded in the profile, for example, collection of an updated copy of Business Registration Certificate
• Collect any comments or enquiries for further follow-up

Requirements:

• Post-secondary graduate and/or 1-year working experience in business functions and associated data requirements
• Understanding of the importance of maintaining up-to-date and accurate data
• Experience of using IT in a study or work setting
• Experience of using a database
• Experience of working in an office environment
• Good customer service attitude
• Good telephone manner
• Thoroughness and Accuracy; High attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin • Proficiency in using MS office applications
• Good Chinese and English typing (30 \ 35 wpm)
• Required to work in Tseung Kwan O Logistics Centre (Shuttle Bus from Tiu Keng Leng MTR Station will be provided)

Remuneration and Benefits: 

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
