HR Generalist (up to $50K) – MNC, Professional Firm

Our client is a multinational professional firm. They are currently looking for a highly-motivated individual who can quickly conquer any obstacle, develop smart solutions, and make an impact, to join their HK team as a HR Generalist.

Job Description:

  • Employee onboarding- create an amazing experience for hires and facilitate the sessions that are in-person to help employees ramp and succeed in their early tenure
  • Source, interview, and hire quality candidates across all disciplines in collaboration with the hiring managers.
  • Serve as a business partner to support culture initiatives. This includes working on employee engagement and retention initiatives by understanding employee data, working with leaders on trends and insights and enabling managers to create action plans to drive improvements.
  • Build relationships with external vendors.
  • Maintain knowledge, trends, and local employment laws and regulations, best practices, and serves as an advocate for employees, providing them with the appropriate information as needed.
  • Answer day-to-day queries from employees and managers regarding benefits, payroll, HRIS, immigration, policies and procedures, and leaves of absence.
  • Design, implement, and oversee day-to-day and ongoing immigration, relocation, and internal assignment transfers/processes.
  • Assist leadership in developing talent strategies that are scale and sustainable and especially in a hybrid / flexible work environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or any related discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in HR ideally in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • A passion for employee development and implementing long-term sustainable people programs.
  • Solid working knowledge of major People & Culture disciplines, including diversity, equity & inclusion, total rewards, payroll, learning and development, talent acquisition, human resources systems, employee and labor relations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various levels of leaders and employees.
  • Ability to flex across long-term strategic thinking and day-to-day detailed tasks, and deliver projects with an emphasis on employee experience.
  • Passion for building culture and strong cross-functional relationships with a global, distributed team.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
