Job Description
Various Operational Units

Major Duties:
(a) To supervise the financial and accounting operations in respect of:
(i) financial planning and management duties, including estimates preparation, costing and financial analysis; and
(ii) treasury accounting duties such as revenue collections, cash management, payments and financial reporting;
(b) To develop and implement financial and accounting systems to support Council’s financial activities;
(c) To assist in formulating, implementing and reviewing accounting policies, systems and procedures; and
(d) To lead and supervise a team of staff.
Requirements:
(a) A relevant recognized degree and a professional accounting qualification;
(b) At least 5 years’ relevant experience in sizeable organisations with at least 3 years at supervisory level;
(c) Proven organisational and management ability;
(d) Strong people and communication skills;
(e) Good command of English and Chinese; and
(f) Ability to work independently on his / her own initiative.
Notes:
(1) Shortlisted candidates are required to attend a written test.
(2) The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours.
