We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as the Business Strategy & Transformation Manager in Hong Kong. 


Role Overview:

The Business Strategy & Transformation Manager will have responsibility for assigned initiatives which could include, but are not limited to, strategic and operational assessments, process analysis, opportunity identification, senior management engagement and management, improvement execution, and strategy to execution.

You will report directly to the CFO and work with all department heads, store leads and external vendors to drive complex cross-functional projects to successful completion through operations excellence while accelerating the achievement of business objectives. This is a broad role which requires oversight of technical and business complexities within business, and an excellent opportunity for you to gain real experience quickly.

Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for end-to-end project management to deliver quality outcomes
  • Bring together people from various parts of the organization to build and manage integrated projects
  • Develop project plans, action plans, identify and fill resource requirements, understand and manage risks, etc. Work autonomously or alongside other business and technology resources
  • Execute plans and track critical metrics to ensure processes are improving as expected
  • Ensure project timelines are clearly articulated and the project remains on track
  • Track quality, experience, financial and non-financial benefits resulting from projects
  • Design and implement control plans to ensure processes remains in control
  • Use PowerPoint to develop project overview and update presentations to be presented to peers, project sponsors, and senior leadership
  • Lead cross-functional teams that do not directly report into you

  • Analytical Rigor: Proven capability conducting and managing quantitative and qualitative analysis. Highest level of attention to detail.

  • Process Improvement: Perform process analysis to better understand the process and associated issues, leading to improvements to simplify, standardize, or automate processes as required.
  • Powerful Communication: Ability to communicate and influence effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of constituents, both verbally and on paper, and with all levels of an organization.
  • Team Leadership: Highly developed relationship-building and influencing skills to foster effective working relations leading cross functional teams on key initiatives.
  • Accountable: Outcome focused and accountable for the result of the initiative being led.

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong Project Management and Execution Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in retail, consulting and/or other service operations
  • Experience to drive Change Management projects and work in a matrix environment
  • Ability to analyse problems
  • Ability to digest large volumes of data and assimilate financial and non-financial information from varying sources
  • Strong communicator with the confidence to influence and support at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task, work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Proven ability to scope and deliver projects
  • Team player
  • Personal innovation and passion
  • A keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office applications, particularly Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI would be a plus
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin would be an advantage
