Job Summary
Provide independent assessment of the adequacy of internal control systems
in covering the following areas:

in covering the following areas:
- Review Finance, Risk, Compliance, and other Internal Control functions
(e.g. Code of Banking Practice; capital adequacy, liquidity control, and
regulatory / internal reporting) - Review Technology and Operations functions (e.g. Business continuity
planning and Operational Risk Management) - Review Financial Crime Compliance, Fraud Risk, and Business Functions
(e.g. AML & CFT, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Fraud Risk)
- Plan and conduct internal audit on the bank's internal control systems in covering all relevant risks of the Bank
- Execute a risk-based audit strategy in compliance with auditing standards
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas for improvement and provide sound recommendations
- Provide business stakeholders with recommendations on how to improve efficiency or optimize business processes
- Update of audit standard / guideline / plan
- Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Department Head
- University graduate in accounting or related disciplines
- Professional qualification in auditing / accounting / Anti-Money Laundering
(e.g. HKICPA, CIA, AAMLP or equivalent) - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in banking and regulatory environment
- Familiar with relevant local regulatory requirements, standards and market practices in Hong Kong
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report writing skills
- A self-motivated team player with multi-tasking and good interpersonal skills
