Job Description

Assists the Accounting Manager to over view the daily accounting operations and assist in any communication between internal departments in an absence of the Manager.

 The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager.  Candidate with less experience will also be considered for the position of Accountant.

 Area of Responsibility

Responsible to ensure all matter regarding full spectrum of accounting (internally and externally) is keeping proper record and comply with Hong Kong Accounting Standard.

 Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly statements, invoices, handling all enquiries and payment issues related  to club members, school, suppliers and business associates
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc accounting reports for management and directors' review
• Responsible for managing the cash flow at adequate level e.g. cash receivable and payable, time deposit
• Handle claims for petty cash, prepare cheques, arrange T/T payments and all accounts payable duties with proper proof and record
• Payroll administration for part-time and casual staff 
• Maintain and check proper record on Club merchandise and in the Club accounting system 
• Make sure the internal or external audits are conducted smoothly by providing relevant and sufficient information to auditors
• Assist in setting up of accounting policies and IT system
• Coordinate with other club administrators for booking keeping issues
• Responsible to obtain accounting related reports from different sections or departments

Hebe Haven Yacht Club is a Private Members Yacht Club located in the picturesque bay of Pak Sha Wan in Sai Kung. The Club provides yachting and boating facilities and we operate a successful Sail Training Centre, busy bar and restaurant, have extensive marine facilities and organized yacht racing.
