Job Description

- Lead finance operation of the Council providing overall control of financial operations and accounting matters for HKPC Group in Hong Kong and the Mainland
- Act as a business partner to senior management to formulate financial and strategic plans for growing the business and driving the performance
- Drive controllership in business operation. Ensure compliance with internal financial, accounting and control policies and procedures and ensure all statutory requirements of the organization are met
- Lead annual audit and liaise with internal auditors and the external auditors
- Supervise finance team to ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial and management reports for senior management's review. Drive annual budgeting process and to oversee the project controlling function
- Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy. Establish relations with banks
- Drive operation excellence of finance process with continuous digitization and simplifications to improve the efficiency of the operations
- Supervise the government funded project accounting team to ensure timely preparation of financial statements and arrangement of external audit in compliance with the government funding guidelines
You will be a good fit if you have/are:
- Bachelor’s degree or above from disciplines such as Accounting, Financial Management, and Business Management, or equivalent
- Over 15 years of solid experience in management and financial accounting, financial planning and analysis, commercial finance of which at least 5 years fulfilling a leading position
- Qualified accountant with HKICPA, or equivalent. Well-acquainted with HK and PRC accounting and taxation system, and ERP system such as SAP
- Strong competencies in planning, organizing, business acumen, result and customer orientation, and good interpersonal and people management skills; able to communicate well with both internal and external parties.
- Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
