Job Description
Finance & Supplies Division
Ref. no : C/FSD/FM/06/22-AP2
Major Duties :
To assist the Head of Finance & Supplies Division in the following areas:
(a) To perform financial planning, funds allocation and budgetary controls and review of financial position of various projects and initiatives;
(b) To formulate, implement and review Council policies, guidelines and procedures relating to financial and accounting aspects;
(c) To support the development of financial model for new projects;
(d) To prepare financial analysis and reports on various activities / programmes for management review;
(e) To coordinate the closing of accounts and compile financial statements;
(f) To manage and maintain effective and efficient financial, accounting and supplies systems;
(g) To provide professional advice on financial, accounting and supplies related issues to operational units; and
(h) To supervise, develop and motivate subordinates in provision of quality services.
Requirements :
(a) A recognised relevant degree and a professional accounting qualification;
(b) At least 7 years’ relevant work experience in sizeable organisations at appropriate level of responsibility;
(c) Good knowledge and experience in accounting and financial management would be an advantage;
(d) Proven organisational, management and leadership ability; strong initiative and people / communication skills;
(e) High level of proficiency in English and Chinese; and
(f) Ability to drive changes, good time management and work independently under pressure.
Notes :
(1) Shortlisted candidates are required to attend a written test.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
