Job Description
The Aquatics Program Coordinator will be part of the Aquatics Department reporting to the Aquatics Director. The Coordinator will coordinate, promote and evaluate the Extra - Curricular Aquatics program in collaboration with the Aquatics Director and Activities Office to ensure the program is well balanced, student-centered, high quality, and consistent with the HKIS Core values. The Coordinator will also serve as a swimming instructor.
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years of related knowledge and experience.
Experience:
- Have experience in supervision, budget management, program development, staff, and volunteer development.
- Have experience in planning, organizing, and implementing age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
- Have experience in working with big data, using different softwares and advanced skills in using Excel.
Skills:
- Have skills in customer service, public relations, organizational skills, communications, supervision, computer knowledge, and file maintenance.
- Have current WSI, CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. Water Safety Instructor’s Trainer and Lifeguarding certification is preferred.
- Be passionate about teaching and coaching swimming to young children.
- Be a team player and be prepared to take on extra responsibilities.
- Fluency in English essential.
