Duties in Summary

Under Medical Physicist supervision to deliver general and specialized medical physics service and teach and supervise Medical Physics Assistant.

Major Duties

To provide professional services and to undergo a work base training program with the objective to develop the Resident Medical Physicist to:

1. be familiar with medical radiation dosimetry systems and measurement methods
2. understand and implement treatment planning, dose calculation and dosimetry

verification of radiotherapy treatment

1. understand and implement the principles of radiation protection and safety
2. be able to perform acceptance testing, commissioning, quality assurance and other aspects of equipment management

1. deliver training to Medical Physics Assistants

Requirements

• Master degree in Physics or Engineering
