• Lead and drive contract manufacturers' quality process readiness (IQC, IPQC, OQC, FAI) and execution efficiency
• Lead and drive new product build key quality issue resolution and closure  
• Evaluate contract manufacturers’ production capability & quality process risks and drive on risk mitigation /reduction
• Work with contract manufacturers in setting up process controls, data collection, failure analysis, corrective action and reporting
• Drive top quality risk mitigation plan and execution to support product launch and product OTD 
• Drive top quality issue and customer /field return product failure analysis and corrective action 
• Drive CAPA process for sustaining quality issues
• Audit contract manufacturers’ processes to assure its compliance with Fossil’s standard
• Publish reports on new and sustaining product quality performance 
• Ensure quality inspection /test spec alignment between contract manufacturers and sub-suppliers
• Perform product inspection during production ramp as necessary 

• Review new products through the DfX process. Wear the product quality hat to derive reliability test plan to address items identified in DfX process.
• As the technical expert in Reliability Assessment at the factory, provide technical guidance to derive mitigation plan for issues happening in production or reliability tests.
• Execute & monitor the test status then providing comprehensive regular feedback to management.  Ensure the test status, actions required are able to align with product development critical dates.
• Continuously optimizing a cost effective reliability plans based on failure analysis knowledge database and field return data.

What we are looking for:

• 3-5 years’ experience as the Product Quality Engineer or NPI Product /Process Engineer. Experience as the team lead or manager is a plus.
• Degree /Master Degree in Mechanical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus
• Language Proficiency in English (must) and Mandarin (plus)
• Experience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing, especially in SMT and box build assembly. Preferred experience in NPI engineering, manufacturing process, and Quality 
• Hands on Experience in Quality Tools, FMEA, DOE application
• Experience with plastic injection and MIM molding, CNC, PVD is a plus
• Must possess excellent skills in analytical, problem solving and capable of performing tasks independently
• Knowledge and hands on experience with electrical characterization tools and lab test equipment (oscilloscope, curve tracer, AC/DC sources, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer etc)
• Knowledge in Reliability, Survival analysis and Statistic analysis, using Minitab/JMP, Weibull++
• Open mindset with effective communication skills. Need to co-work with cross-functional teams in US, APAC, Vietnam and Hong Kong
