• Lead the development of strategies and plans to deliver high quality professional advisory tax services to achieve client satisfaction.
• Develop overall targets, forecasting business opportunities aligned to the Group’s overall strategic direction.
• Proactively managing actual performance against targets and monitoring performance and productivity for the division.
• Collaborate with country division head to develop a strategic direction to build relationships with clients and other stakeholders both from within the firm and externally (generating fresh leads), identifying, spotting and leveraging on business opportunities.
• Collaborate with all internal business units both locally and regionally.
• Prepare business proposals and transactions review on tax related issues, covering all business areas including equities, FX, fixed income, investment banking, wealth management and asset management.
• Keep abreast with local tax legislation and practice and network with tax authorities and professional bodies.  Contribute tax articles to media and other publications.
• Advise and direct all business areas and support functions on a broad range of tax issues including corporate, operational, consumption, business, personnel, transaction taxes and transfer pricing.
• Implement and refine procedures and processes for the division to improve efficiencies and quality.
• Monthly P&L reporting.
• Build, mentor and grow a team.

• Minimum 5 years relevant Tax experience gained from medium to large sized accounting/tax firms or industry OR accounting or legal background with good understanding of Tax Compliance or advisory services would also be considered.
• Experienced in leading and manage at least 3 - 5 team members.
• Extensive knowledge of local and international tax rules.
• Able to work in harmony with co-workers.
