Responsibilities:

• Assist economists in market and economic research in regular updates and research projects, by carrying out information and data collection, as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Provide statistical support and fact-checking for research publications and materials
• Draft research pieces that contribute to articles and reports for general business readers
• Update the research content onto the Research portal using content management system
• Maintaining and updating an efficient filing system which ensures that documentation is easily accessible
• Undertake other research and administrative support tasks as instructed by economists
• To assist in ad-hoc logistic support in start-up related initiatives, management meetings, networking events and webinars

Requirements:

• A university degree in Economics or other relevant disciplines
• Fresh graduates with potential will also be considered
• Relevant working experience would be an advantage
• Good analytical skills and communication skills
• Writing skills in both English and Chinese.  Proficient in Putonghua
• Good computing skills, including Excel Word, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
• Knowledge of statistical software packages (e.g. Tableau, Python, SPSS) would be an advantage
• Strong visual design skills with knowledge in HTML or software like Photoshop would be an advantage
• Detail-minded along with good customer service skills
• A team player with sound organisational and interpersonal skills, able to undertake multiple tasks and work under pressure

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
