Job Description
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Scientific analysis, testing and inspections to address polymer and material science matters related to the use of materials in applications from consumer products and electronics to pharmaceuticals and medical devices
- A significant portion of activities will include root cause analysis of a wide variety of polymer materials failures related to issues arising in development, manufacturing or use of products
- Activities will also include litigation technical report writing and analysis
- Assignments will require the ability to gather information from and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, law and industry
- Written and verbal fluency in English
- Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Ability to clearly communicate findings through reports and presentations
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work within project teams with strong desire to contribute, have potential for technical and project managerial leadership
- Must be able to convey complex technical information to individuals in engineering, business, legal and related industries
- Superior problem-solving abilities
- Strong educational and publication credentials
- Relocation to China
