Main Duties:

• Develop table wine and spirits products, relevant frozen meat and seafood;
• Assess the quality of wine, sales and promotion planning, storage and logistic support, etc;
• Able to provide suggestion on food pairing with wine tasting;
• Meet overseas suppliers(Occasionally contact suppliers during overseas time zone);
• Travel to overseas(US, UK, Northern Europe, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, etc),source and audit new suppliers;
• Handle price negotiation in local market, cost comparison & analysis;
• Maintain weekly price update and promotion programs;
• Able to host, provide guiding and training to colleagues in internal wine tasting event;

Important: Instead of related experience in the field, good intuitive and common senses are overwhelmingly important requirements for the above position. Candidate with multi-language skill is highly preferred (i.e. Good command in 3 or more languages: English / Mandarin / Japanese / Korean / etc.)

Other duties of the above position are:

• Act as a sourcing & general support officer in purchasing department;
• Handle sourcing, price negotiation, payment terms, PO, Shipping Documents, order follow up as well as payment arrangement , etc;
• Communicate between with suppliers and production teams;
• Maintain current product supply and ensure in stable quality;
• Liaise with factories for production schedule & quality checking;
• Handle shipping Documents, Delivery Control;
• Internal communication with warehouse for stock management, food quality control, etc;

Requirements:

• 2-5 years' work experience, preferably in sales or trading, purchasing office, food industry;
• Holder of driving license (Hong Kong and IDP)
• Degree holder, preferably in Business administration, supply chain, food science disciplines;
• English typing speed 40wpm is a must;
• Good written and spoken English;
• In-depth knowledge in EXCEL spreadsheet; with ERP experience, data analytic skill;
• Able to work multi-tasks under pressure and deliver on schedule;
• Self-motivated, positive, energetic and keen on learning;
• Be honest, loyal;
• Good adaptability to different and fast-changing company/procurement policies is a plus;
• Strong team player and communicator;
• Disciplinary, punctual.
