We are seeking an outstanding senior architect/developer to join a high-performance team responsible for the development and operation of the company’s technology platforms. This person is highly motivated, combines deep technology expertise across multiple implementations and relishes the prospect of taking responsibility across various projects and disciplines.

Reporting directly to the Technical Lead, your responsibilities will include: 

• Contributing to the strategy, roadmap, and architecture of Anglo-Eastern technology platforms 
• Mapping requirements to technical designs, articulating solution risks and barriers, recommending project approaches 
• Prototyping and evaluating new technologies and tools  
• Developing, testing, and implementing solutions on the server-side stack (APIs, Business layer, Analytics) 
• Collaborating with development peers to perform design and code reviews
• Code integration and deployment to cloud web services 
• Diagnosing issues arising in existing solutions and taking the necessary actions to resolve them 
• Authoring and maintaining technical documents relating to application architecture, design, integration and testing for products developed

You have: 

• A university degree and a keen interest in technology 
• At least 5 year’s professional experience designing, developing & implementing n-tier architectures
• The tenacity to quickly comprehend complex problems/opportunities and create innovative solutions
• Specific technical skills in: 
• .NET (Core), C#
• Restful API, REST, OData protocols 
• SQL – Tables, SSDT – Database version control, Queries, Stored Procedures etc. 
• Caching technologies
• Azure cloud services - WebJobs, WebApp, Azure Blob Storage, App Insights, Microservices architecture
• Git/Git Action
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native solutions
• Experience in test driven development
• Experience in information architecture design and implementation across traditional database technologies as well as modern document databases
• A desire to contribute to the implementation of continuous build/test/release cycles (DevSecOps) 
• The people and communication skills required to work across users, designers, developers, and business managers
