Responsibilities

• Liaise with users to define systems requirements
• Conduct system analysis and design, testing, program migration and installation for new systems
• Provide maintenance and enhancement supporting services for existing systems
• Prepare functional specifications, system specifications, program specifications, operation manuals and user guides
• Attend to problems arising from the day-to-day operation of systems
• Provide guidance to subordinates in system development and maintenance
• Establish environment for system development, system test and user acceptance test
• Provide user training
• Test software tools and perform / support software upgrade and installation
• Provide first line support during and after office hours
• Maintain technical knowledge and skills on software tools

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or I.T. related disciplines
• Minimum 7-9 years' experience in application system development and maintenance
• Knowledge of Unix, java, J2EE, web-based application development, javascript, Ajax, CSS, html5, JSP, SQL
• Good technical, interpersonal, communication and coordination skills
