Job Description:

To assist in business as usual tasks and recommend for system enhancements which include requirement gathering, test plan and test cases preparation, user acceptance testing (UAT), report defects to IT, prepare training materials and conduct trainings to users. ​

Responsibilities

• Gather user requirements, prepare test plan and test cases according to test scope.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), raise change requests, verify data after system migration, support system re-testing after data fixing /  system enhancement and report testing problems / defects to IT development team and perform post implementation checking.
• Investigate and work with IT to resolve UAT and BAU problems identified by users
• Draw and analyze data to support different business initiatives and achieve operational efficiencies.
• Work with operation teams and IT team to identify and maximize opportunities and to use information and technology to improve product, service and or program business processes.
• Prepare training materials and conduct trainings to users.
• To assist the Senior Business Analyst to monitor daily and month end reports. Perform preliminary investigations for any abnormalities found and report to IT for fixing if necessary.
• Participates in IT or vendor meetings and support any other administrative tasks as assigned.

Preferred skills

• Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Access etc.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizing skills
• Proficient in understanding processes and methodologies and the ability to apply them.
• Team player with good communication skills
• Able to work under pressure

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree or Higher Diploma or Associate degree in Mathematics or Statistics or related discipline with at least 3 years working experience in program / business analysis preferably in insurance, banking or financial institutions.
