• Supporting the development and implementation of travel and retail applications (air-ancillaries, hotel booking, packages, etc.) in collaboration and alignment with all Business Unit’s and IT functions to enable overall business strategy and fulfill its technology requirements
• Gather and analyze requirements, evaluate and recommend detailed solutions options from a system perspective
• Work closely with Solution Architect to support solution design and contribute expertise and detailed knowledge to ensure high level design decisions are able to be delivered
• To ensure requirements are mapped and documented to functional and technical specifications for software development projects
• Contribute expertise in supporting the development of technical specification
• Carry out level 2 and level 3 incident supports for in-production systems and manage end user expectations
• Oversee and QA the development of all solution components ensuring this meets requirements and complies with all relevant standards
• Manage and work with external 3rd parties to deliver systems as required
• Contribute and follow standards and frameworks for development
• Collaborate with other IM domains to drive innovation
• Keep abreast of the business strategy, business plan and latest industrial trends

• Possess a recognized university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
•  A minimum of 6 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in business/system analyst role, preferably in sizable organization
•  Have solid experience in large technology initiatives using a hybrid mix of traditional and agile SLDC methodologies
• A good track record of delivering high quality projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, Fluent in English and Chinese
• Strong interpersonal skills; promoting healthy relationships and team dynamics with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in liaising with all relevant stakeholders
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas
• Ability to articulate in writing detailed concepts and to present information to a variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner
• Focus on the end user’s or customer’s needs
• Have knowledge of retail solutions and processes is an advantage
• Solid experience in Oracle database, SQL, Java, Web development, JavaScript, HTML / XML
• Knowledge on finance, security and PCIDSS is beneficial
• Knowledge and/or experience with Dev Ops environment or Cloud platform e.g. AWS or Azure is an added advantage
• Good understanding of technology concepts, trends and capabilities
