My client is looking for an Application Manager who is expected to be around 15 years' experience in IT application development.  (System Analyst with required skill can be considered.

Oversees Application Systems Portfolio for an MNC

Responsibilities :
Lead, manage and monitor all aspects of Application Systems Operations and Development projects
Manage daily operation and support of mission-critical systems with high SLA.
Responsible for the up-keeping of the systems for cybersecurity, availability and disaster recovery.
Solution Design & Sourcing, Tendering, Contract Negotiation and Vendor Management.
Identify risks and issues on projects - develop risk management and issues management plans, and carry out decisive actions. Manage change management.
Develop policies, procedures and manage documentations
Lead and support team members for task achievement and skill development
Manage multiple site locations

Requirements :
Degree holder in Computer Science or IT related discipline
Minimum 10 years application systems experience in IT, at least 5 years in a project management role. PMP would be an advantage.
Experience in tier 1 ERP such as Finance, Procurement application development
Preference of leading for small team inhouse development project with Oracle Forms, Java
Experience of Production Support environment
Good track record of operation support and projects. Hands on capability in technical design & problem diagnosis.
Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken
