Job Description
Our client is well-known and reputable financial institute globally, and has well-established IT infrastructure environment with in-advanced technologies used. The IT networking team is currently expanding with needs for hiring an experienced Network Security Engineer responsible for:
- Manage and support data networks comprised of core and edge switching devices, perimeter and internal Firewalls, and IPS
- Experience creating network segmentation through various technologies such as routing, virtual networking, and SDN
- Provide day-to-day support on network security infrastructure environment (e.g. firewall and IPS), configuration, administration, health check, respond to escalation notices, perform root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Work with others team member to serve as subject matter expert in providing network and security related advices for designing and implementing IT security control initiatives and risk mitigation/remediation
Requirements:
- Degree holder of Computer Science or Engineering
- In possession of CCNP or CISSP would be a plus
- At least eight (8) years in IT with network security and support experience
- Following experience and knowledge are good to have:
- TCP/IP
- Cisco Routing & Switching
- Fortinet, Palo Alto, ASA and Checkpoint firewall
- NIPS
- DNS, IPSEC, Proxy and Anti-DDoS
- Basic software defined networking and cloud computing skills
