About our team:
Your New Role:
We are looking for strong iOS and Android app developers with a creative eye to work with our internal creative agency to design and create best-in-class mobile and TV apps primarily related to PCCW Group’s TV and streaming services including Now TV, Now E, and Viu. You will be responsible to:
- Design and build iOS and/or Android applications
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Develop new features and user interfaces from wireframe models
- Cooperate with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions
- Degree / Higher Diploma in Computer Science / IT or related disciplines
- 1 - 4 years programming experience in an application development environment using a modern language supported by iOS /Android such as Swift or Objective C or kotlin (Fresh graduates, however, with proven experience in application development are also welcomed to apply)
- Solid experience on TV related projects is an advantage
- Knowledge of latest project management process such as Agile
- Knowledge of user experience techniques such as usability tests, journey mapping, storyboarding, and personas
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Design and build advanced applications for the android and/or iOS platform
- Understanding app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences
- Able to work independently to meet multiple project deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Good command of Chinese and English
- Immediate available is highly preferred
