Report to Head of Data and work under SDU (Strategic Data Unit), A specialized data function within the Group to create and manage common data, general algorithms, and data bridges to the LFX Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage cloud data platform
• Enabling fast, clean & secure data ingestion/integration from diversified internal and external data sources
• Establish standards of the data platform to support the evolving data-driven business
• Support Data Governance process to govern the data within the data platform
• Involve in project lifecycle including user requirement collection, analysis & solution design, development, SIT, UAT, documentation and ongoing support
• Manage external vendors to achieve designated initiatives

Qualifications and professional skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Data, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with complicated large-scale datasets; experience with relevant technologies and enterprise-level system implementations, such as data warehouses, ETL automation, BI visualization tools, and cloud-based data management tools
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, ETL, data modelling, and working with big data
• Good communication and project management skills
• Experience with big data tools (Databricks/Spark/Hadoop)
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools, e.g. dbt, ADF,  Airflow etc
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Data Engineer
