Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and supporting in a Microsoft Windows Server, Linux and VMware environment
- Performing successful root cause analysis for complex problem resolution and follow up problem diagnostics
- Support system incident handing as the need arises
- Manage system backup and ensure the backup result successful
- Support system setup, configuration and software installation work
- Performing analysis and assessment of server performance, server tuning and storage capacity and planning
- Maintain system documentation
- Resolution of service requests, incidents and day-to-day user issues per established procedure
- Support new system implementation and ad-hoc projects
Job Requirements:
- Degree or above in Computer Studies, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in providing Linux and Windows system administration and support
- Experience in Data Center environment (Virtualization, Blades, SAN, Remote Management)
- Hands-on experience in Solarwind SAM, WPM module, Veeam and CA Arcserve backup tools
- Familiar with Active Directory, GPO and Powershell script
- Familiar with VMware administration
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory
- Strong Communication Skills with the ability to plan and lead projects to completion
- Willing and required to support off-hours and on-call attendance
- Travel (including international travel opportunities) as reasonably required
