My client is a top tier global management consulting firm focusing on Technology services. With over 50 years of history, their offices are well-established across the globe. In the recent decades, they have been known for remarkable technology solutions providing to clients, not limited to web applications, mobile solutions, software development and digital transformation. Due to business expansion, they are currently looking for a Software Engineer (Backend / Full-stack) to join the Hong Kong team.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in all aspects of the software development-cycle. From develop, test to deliver software that meets user needs while solving complex software challenges
• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code 
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Actively support a quality automatic testing solution for various environments
• Assure product quality in terms of functionality, performance, and usability
• Follow best practices, maintain and support the application services with high stability to sustain business operations
• Develop systems according to business requirements and technical specifications
• Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications for various solutions, including coding, debugging, testing of the system
• Work closely with technical leadership to deliver exceptional solutions and products to our clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent technology and development related fields
• At least 2 years of experience in backend of full stack software development in Java
• Expertise in JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue) would be an advantage
• Proven track record in using NoSQL or SQL databases 
• Experience in DevOps (Jenkins, Docker, Ansible),  Android or iOS development will be an advantage 
• Team player with good communication skills  
• Strong programming practice and able to prepare technical documents 
• Accountability and ability to work under pressure
