HR Coordinator (up to $25K) – MNC, Professional Firm

Our client is a multinational professional firm. They are currently looking for a highly-motivated individual who can quickly conquer any obstacle, develop smart solutions, and make an impact, to join their HK team as a HR Coordinator.

Job Description:

  • Assist and provide administration support in staffing activities
  • Support onboarding and offboarding matters e.g. tracking and completion of new hire paperwork, new hire HRIS setup; relocation matters etc.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining personnel records of employees. Ensure all vital paperwork and documents are filed in a timely manner
  • Prepare all HR-related letters/correspondence including employment letters, confirmation letters and relevant correspondence
  • Handle government-paid maternity / paternity leave, childcare leave for employees, application of government grants, etc.
  • Handle group employee insurance policies, renewals, updating staff movement, assist staff on claims related matters etc.
  • Handle employee queries related to systems, claims, leave, benefits, etc.
  • Assist in internal communications e.g., Covid-19 workplace updates, new joiner introductions, HR-related initiatives for newsletters
  • Verification of HR related invoices with Finance for payment
  • Any other ad-hoc HR tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or any related discipline
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in HR operations ideally in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • A passion for employee development and implementing long-term sustainable people programs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various levels of leaders and employees.
  • Passion for building culture and strong cross-functional relationships with a global, distributed team.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
