Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Perform all general corporate accounting functions and support the daily operations
- Handle full set of accounts, including receipt and payment transactions, book-keeping, general ledgers, bank reconciliation and balance sheet
- Prepare month end closing, financial statements, management reports, budget and forecasts
- Deal with FRR regular filing to demonstrate compliance with the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO)
- Responsible for the daily monitoring of the required Liquid Capital
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for management review
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for audit, compliance, taxation and other accounting and finance related matters
- Assist in ad hoc assignments as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related disciplines
- At least 5 years' experience in Accounting or Auditing, preferably with SFC licensed corporation’s exposure
- Qualified Accountant is an advantage (Semi-qualified / Finalist is also welcome)
- Sound knowledge in SFC rules and regulations
- Candidate with experience in handling and submitting financial returns is preferable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Detail-minded, self-motivated and independent
- With strong analytical skills and good attention to details
- Good command of both English and Chinese
- Immediate availability is highly preferable
