Job Description
Tenure: Contract for 12 months with option to extend, pending performance.
Responsibilities
- Clear book-keeping backlog and reconciling previous month’s open items.
- Ensure stakeholders’ adherence to monthly deadlines.
- Compile data and reports for the upcoming annual audit.
- Reconcile daily bank transactions, arrange overheads expense payments and prepare payment vouchers.
- Prepare month-end closing vouchers, Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE), and register updates.
- Prepare bank and accounts reconciliation, and account receivable aging
- Prepare daily cash flow position.
- Handle ad hoc assignments and other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience; auditing experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other accounting software.
- Detail-oriented, has strong problem-solving skills and shows initiative.
- Proactive with positive and hands-on attitude, and able to meet timelines.
- Good team player with strong inter-personal and communication skills.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese.
- Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals.
- Immediately available will be an advantage.
