Tenure: Contract for 12 months with option to extend, pending performance.

Responsibilities

• Clear book-keeping backlog and reconciling previous month’s open items.
• Ensure stakeholders’ adherence to monthly deadlines.
• Compile data and reports for the upcoming annual audit.
• Reconcile daily bank transactions, arrange overheads expense payments and prepare payment vouchers.
• Prepare month-end closing vouchers, Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE), and register updates.
• Prepare bank and accounts reconciliation, and account receivable aging
• Prepare daily cash flow position.
• Handle ad hoc assignments and other duties as required.

 Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience; auditing experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other accounting software.
• Detail-oriented, has strong problem-solving skills and shows initiative.
• Proactive with positive and hands-on attitude, and able to meet timelines.
• Good team player with strong inter-personal and communication skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese.
• Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals.
• Immediately available will be an advantage.
