Group Internal Audit is covering the various business areas of both the South Asia Real Estate Group and the South Asia Knitting Group, in which groups the subsidiaries and operations are locating across mainland China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Cambodia.

 
General Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of business and operation of each unit;
  • Assist in every step of an audit including scoping, planning, fieldwork and reporting;
  • Execute audit testing to ensure audit fieldwork is focused on the right areas in a risk-based approach, and documentation meets high quality standards;
  • Identify risks, assess mitigating controls, and provide recommendations on improving the control environment;
  • Prepare commercially effective audit conclusions and findings, and present to Group IA director and senior management of the auditees;
  • Follow-up on open audit issues and their remediations;
  • Assist in the audit team’s continuous monitoring effort to cover market and regulatory events, business and technology updates and audit/reviews completed;
  • Participate in department-wide initiatives aimed at continually improving IA's processes and supporting infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Willing to frequent travelling is a must;
  • Strong Mandarin communication skills (written and verbal) is a must;
  • Experience with manufacturing and real estate sectors is prefer
  • Strong project and time management skills;
  • Good communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders, keen to drive consensus and influence the outcomes;
  • Excellent team player who is enthusiastic, motivated to learn and detailed oriented;
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management;
  • Over 6 years of experience in a public accounting or internal audit role within the real estate/manufacturing industries or a related control function is preferred;
  • Good awareness and knowledge of relevant compliance matters is preferred, including experience in regulatory, legal, anti-financial crime, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery processes and fraud investigation;
  • Familiar with COSO ERM/IC frameworks, familiar with US SOX, HK listing rules (especially PN21 and Corporate Governance).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in audit of real estate and manufacturing industries;
  • Relevant certification or industry accreditation (e.g., CPA, CA, CFA, CIA);
  • Experience with data analytics is a plus.
