Job Description

Responsibilities

The role of HR Specialist requires solid foundational and working knowledge of the end-to-end payroll cycle. Hands-on experience with the various inputs and outputs, such as third-party interfaces, timekeeping, tax filing/compliance, accounting, benefits and other key areas that integrate with payroll is essential. Reporting to the Payroll Lead based in India, the incumbent’s duties includes: 

  • Payroll reconciliations, monitor banking files 
  • Integration data management (between Workday and ADP GlobalView)
  • Provide services and solutions to employees on HR topics, including employee benefits, leaves of absence, etc
  • Set up/Maintenance of the payroll blueprint, standard work/procedures
  • Report creation and analysis
  • Collaboration with vendors for payroll & HRIS system configurations/updates/enhancements
  • Payroll and tax lodgments
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field
  • 3 years payroll experience or a combination of Payroll, HR and/or Payroll IT experience is preferred, exposure across APAC countries e.g. India/Singapore is an advantage
  • SAP preferred with knowledge of Workday and associated integrations
  • Progressive analytical skills & Strong organization skills
  • Local legislation knowledge
  • Good ethics to work with sensitive and confidential data
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Self-starter able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while at the same time a good Team Player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (excel, word, etc.)
