Review alerts triggered by transaction monitoring systems

Key Accountabilities

•    Review alerts triggered by transaction monitoring systems. Provide guidance to junior staff on alerts disposition. Monitor progress within defined timeframe and quality
•    Provide advice to business units on third party transactions.
•    Identify, investigate and report suspicious activity and transaction, and escalate any material risk relevant information to MLRO for suspicious transaction reports (STRs) submission to the JFIU on timely manner.
•    Produce regular AML reports for internal stakeholders.
•    Assist in developing systems related to AML compliance projects and other ad hoc projects.
•    Assist in maintaining the system developed and responsible for relevant administrative work arisen from the system.
•    Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Skills & Experience

•    Degree holder of Law / Accounting / Finance or other related disciplines 
•    Minimum 4 years experiences or above in anti-money laundering, transaction monitoring or screening 
•    Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory regime, especially AML regulatory requirements and standards. Preferably from investment and corporate banking services aspects. 
•    Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
•    Strong sense of responsibility
•    Able to work under pressure and tight timelines
•    Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
